Toplyga newcomers FK TransINVEST have strengthened their squad with the signing of Montenegrin forward Stefan Milosevic, a player already familiar to Baltic football followers.

The 29-year-old striker arrives from Gibraltar Premier Division side FC Europa, where he scored four goals in 16 appearances. However, he is best remembered in the region for his spell with Latvian Virslīga club Riga FC between autumn 2020 and summer 2021.

Milosevic was part of the Riga FC’s 2020 league title-winning campaign. During his time at the club he scored 15 league goals in 21 matches.

Earlier in his career, the new TransINVEST forward featured in Montenegro’s top division, made 27 appearances in Belgium’s top flight with Waasland-Beveren, and also played in the top leagues of Israel and Romania.

TransINVEST will begin their new Toplyga season – marking their return to the Lithuanian top flight after a one-year absence – on February 22 at Vilnius’ Sportima Arena against FA Šiauliai.
