Flora will begin their Women’s Baltic League season on 8 February with a home fixture against RFS.
The opening match of the new campaign is scheduled for 17:00 at the EJL indoor hall in Tallinn. The competition again brings together two top clubs from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania each, with six teams battling for the Baltic title.
Estonia will be represented by Flora and Saku Sporting. Latvia’s entrants are Riga FC and RFS, while Lithuania will be represented by Gintra and TransINVEST.
TransINVEST’s second-place finish last season means MFA Žalgiris are not part of this year’s line-up. The format mirrors last season, with clubs not facing teams from their own country in the first phase. Each side plays four matches in total, two at home and two away.
The final standings will be decided through semi-finals and placement matches. The top-ranked team will meet the fourth-placed side in the semi-finals, with second playing third. There will be no fifth-place play-off, and the final and third-place match are scheduled for 15 August.
Flora also have three pre-season friendlies in the diary at Lilleküla indoor hall: Vantaa PK-35 on 24 January (14:00), Metta on 31 January (16:00), and Saku Sporting on 15 February (18:30).
