# Flora target 10th Women’s Super Cup against Saku Sporting
Flora will begin the defence of their Women’s Super Cup title against Saku Sporting on Friday, with kick-off at 19:00 local time.

The Estonian champions are chasing a record-extending 10th Super Cup after winning the fixture nine times since the competition was introduced in 2009. Flora also won this match-up comfortably last year and have beaten Saku in each of the past four Super Cup finals, while Saku are still seeking a first title in the competition.

The sides met four times in the league last season. Flora won the first two meetings, Saku then earned a 1-0 victory in the third, before Flora took the points again in the most recent encounter.

Defender Kristiina Tullus said: “_One match, one trophy. The aim is to start the season with a win and lift the cup at the final whistle_.”

Saku head coach Merily Toom said the team were ready for the challenge. She said: “_The long-awaited new domestic season is just around the corner and there is no better way to start than by playing for a trophy straight away. The opponent is strong, we are ready and the weather promises to be good. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the stadium_.”

Defender Viktoria Toding added that Saku expected an intense game and wanted to show they could push Flora all the way.
