The first half offered very little in terms of quality or chances. Flora controlled possession but struggled to break down a compact Vaprus side, while the visitors failed to create anything meaningful going forward. The best opportunity fell to Tristan Pajo, who fired over from close range, while at the other end Ilja Antonov’s header also missed the target. Overall, it was a slow, error-filled half lacking intensity and attacking sharpness.
Flora stepped up after the break and finally found the breakthrough in the 60th minute. Rauno Sappinen released Sergei Zenjov on the right, and the experienced forward finished confidently into the far corner to make it 1-0.
Moments later, Flora doubled their lead. Antonov produced a composed individual effort, beating multiple defenders before slotting home to give the hosts full control of the match. Sappinen thought he had added a third shortly after, but the goal was ruled out for a foul in the buildup following a VAR review.
Vaprus made several changes in an attempt to turn the game, but their attacking play remained blunt, with too many mistakes in possession and little threat in the final third. Flora, meanwhile, comfortably managed the closing stages, even creating additional chances through substitutes.
In the end, Flora secured their third win of the season, while Vaprus’ struggles continued, as they remain near the bottom of the table with just one win and five defeats.
