**FK Tukums 2000 have started shaping their squad for the 2026 Latvian Virslīga season, confirming that midfielder Kaspars Anmanis has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until the end of next season.**

The announcement follows the earlier news that club captain Bogdans Samoilovs had also committed his future to Tukums, extending his contract through the 2026 campaign.

Anmanis, 23, a former Latvia U-21 international, has spent his entire professional career with the Tukums side and will enter his fourth Virslīga season with the club next year. This season, he has been a consistent presence in midfield, making 29 league appearances and providing two assists. Over his career, Anmanis has featured in 135 top-flight matches, scoring seven goals for the club.

FK Tukums 2000 currently sit seventh in the Latvian Virslīga table. Later today, they face Riga FC away from home – a match that could see Riga clinch their first league title since 2020 with either a win or a draw.
