FK Tukums 2000 have started shaping their squad for the 2026 Latvian Virslīga season, confirming that midfielder Kaspars Anmanis has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until the end of next season.
The announcement follows the earlier news that club captain Bogdans Samoilovs had also committed his future to Tukums, extending his contract through the 2026 campaign.
Anmanis, 23, a former Latvia U-21 international, has spent his entire professional career with the Tukums side and will enter his fourth Virslīga season with the club next year. This season, he has been a consistent presence in midfield, making 29 league appearances and providing two assists. Over his career, Anmanis has featured in 135 top-flight matches, scoring seven goals for the club.
FK Tukums 2000 currently sit seventh in the Latvian Virslīga table. Later today, they face Riga FC away from home – a match that could see Riga clinch their first league title since 2020 with either a win or a draw.
