FK Sūduva Marijampolė has signed another new contract for the upcoming season, extending the deal of midfielder Titas Milašius, who represented the club in 2025. The winger, celebrating his 25th birthday today, will remain with the team for 2026.
Milašius joined Sūduva at the beginning of September and went on to feature in seven A Lyga matches as well as one FPRO LFF Cup fixture before the end of the season. “This was one of the easier decisions because I already know everything here: how things work, what to expect,” said the midfielder, who has made 11 appearances for the Lithuanian national team. “The coach called me, we discussed next year’s plans, and I decided to stay.”
The player hopes to receive more playing time next season and contribute to the team’s pursuit of victories.
“When I arrived, the season was already nearing its end and the team was well-settled, so naturally I got fewer minutes. Toward the end I felt good within the squad, but there simply wasn’t enough time to show everything I can do,” Milašius noted. “Next season I hope to play more and prove that the recent period doesn’t reflect my true potential, that it wasn’t by accident that I played in Poland. I want to show all of that here at Sūduva.”
Milašius developed as a youth player at Vilnius FM and the National Football Academy before moving to Warsaw’s Escola Varsovia in 2016. Before joining Sūduva, he played in Poland for Plock’s Wisła, Świt Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Skra Częstochowa, Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała, and Pogoń Siedlce.
Sūduva will begin preparations for the new season in early January.
