FC Flora collected 393 items of football equipment in December for children and young people in Rwanda. The shipment, sent to Africa via Omniva, has a total weight of 88 kilograms.
Collection boxes were placed at FC Flora’s office and at Kotka Football Hall in mid-December, allowing supporters to donate football items that were outgrown or lightly used but still clean and suitable for use. In total, the community donated 393 pieces of equipment, including shirts and shorts, socks, shin guards, football boots, rain jackets, training vests, goalkeeper gloves, balls, backpacks, and boot bags.
The donated equipment was delivered, with the support of partners involved in the charitable project, to youth players at the Inyenyeri Itazima Football Academy near Rubavu in north-western Rwanda.
The club expressed its thanks to everyone who contributed.
