Harju JK Laagri have officially announced the signing of 18-year-old centre-back Nourdine Camara, a dual national of Germany and Guinea.
Born in 2006, Camara has not yet made a professional appearance, and this move marks his first experience outside of his home country. He spent the last five years in the Bayer Leverkusen academy system, featuring at every level from the U-15s to the U-19s.
“I have felt very good since day one,” Camara said. “The people are nice — the staff, the players — everything is top. I feel like I’m at home!”
Club CEO Kalmar Liiv expressed his excitement about the signing: “We’re very happy that another young and talented player has joined the Harju project. Nourdine is physically strong, fast, and has excellent defensive qualities. He will definitely add value in several aspects of our game. What’s also encouraging is how smoothly he has integrated into the squad.”
Camara could make his debut as soon as today, with Harju JK Laagri set to play away against Pärnu JK Vaprus in the Estonian Premium Liiga.
