FIFA has confirmed the match schedule and dates for the upcoming FIFA Series 2026 tournaments, with the Estonia national football team set to compete in Rwanda during next month’s international window.

Estonia will open their campaign on Friday, 27 March, facing the Kenya national football team. In the other semi-final of the same mini-tournament, hosts Rwanda national football team will meet the Grenada national football team.

Three days later, the winners of both semi-finals will contest the final, while the defeated sides will play for third place, determining the final standings of the four-team event.

This marks the second edition of the FIFA Series, following the successful pilot project in 2024, which featured 24 national teams from six confederations. For 2026, the men’s competition has been expanded to 36 national teams, reflecting FIFA’s broader objective of increasing competitive international opportunities outside traditional qualification cycles.

In addition to Estonia, several other European nations will participate in March’s mini-series tournaments, including the Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Finland and the Liechtenstein national football team.

In total, 48 national teams will take part across 12 tournaments, including three women’s events. Nine men’s tournaments will be staged in Australia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Uzbekistan and two separate events in Rwanda. Meanwhile, three FIFA Women’s tournaments will be held in Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire and Thailand.
