Estonia women will open their European qualifying campaign for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup with back-to-back away fixtures against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Lithuania in March, as head coach Aleksandra Ševoldajeva has named a 24-player squad for the opening window.
The team will assemble on 24th February before travelling to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 28th February. Estonia face the hosts on 3rd of March at 14:00 Estonia time, followed by a meeting with Lithuania on 7th March at 17:00 at the Raudondvaris Stadium just outside Kaunas.
Europe has been allocated 11 places at the 2027 finals in Brazil. The winners of the A League groups will qualify directly, while the remaining spots will be decided through play-offs involving the highest-ranked teams across the leagues. One additional European side may also progress via intercontinental play-offs.
Eight players from Flora Women are included in the squad. Goalkeeper Victoria Vihman joins defenders Kelly Rosen, Kristiina Tullus, Helina Tarkmeel and Anett Joandi, as well as midfielders Karola Purgats and Anastasija Južaninova. Joandi and Južaninova will be looking to earn their first senior international caps.
Estonia will be without Getter Saar, Sandra Pärn and Lisette Tammik due to injury.
