Estonia’s national team head coach Jürgen Henn has unveiled his 26-man roster for the upcoming June World Cup qualifiers, featuring few changes from the squad called up for the March internationals.

The only new additions to the squad are central defender Erko Jonne Tõugjas and midfielder Rocco Robert Shein, while defender Tanel Tammik has been left out.

The most notable absence remains team captain Karol Mets, the St. Pauli center-back, who is still sidelined due to injury. On the positive side, Rocco Robert Shein returns to the squad after missing the March window as he recovered from injury. The Fredrikstad midfielder is now fully fit and ready to contribute.

With Tammik losing his starting spot at FCI Levadia, the door opened for Tõugjas, who has made a strong case with four goals already this season for FC Flora in the Estonian Premium Liiga. The 20-year-old defender has four senior caps, his most recent appearance coming in March 2024.

The squad includes 11 players from the Estonian Premium Liiga, while the remaining 15 players play their club football abroad.

Estonia began their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 1–2 defeat to Israel, but bounced back three days later with a 3–2 away win over Moldova.

Both of Estonia’s June qualifiers will be played at A. Le Coq Arena in Tallinn. First up is Israel on June 6 at 21:45, followed by a match against Norway on June 9, also kicking off at 21:45.
