# Estonia discover Women’s Nations League opponents
Estonia’s women’s national team discovered their opponents for the 2027 UEFA Women’s Nations League after the group stage draw took place in Switzerland on Tuesday, 3rd November. Estonia have been placed in League C, group C4, alongside Luxembourg, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and San Marino.

Estonia have faced Luxembourg on several occasions in the past. Their most recent meetings came during the 2024 UEFA Women’s EURO qualifiers, with both games ending in 1-1 draws.

Bosnia and Herzegovina are another familiar opponent. The two teams have met twice in the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers earlier this year. Estonia lost 3-1 away from home in March before earning a 1-1 draw in the return fixture in Pärnu in June. Vlada Kubassova scored Estonia’s goal.

San Marino, however, will be a new opponent for Estonia’s senior women’s national team, as the two sides have never faced each other before. San Marino will also be taking part in the Women’s Nations League for the first time, making the upcoming matches more interesting.

The group will be played in a home-and-away format, with each team playing six matches. The group winners will secure automatic promotion to League B, while the second-placed teams will have a chance to earn promotion through play-offs, depending on the overall League C rankings.
