Estonia international Erik Sorga will continue his career on Faroe Islands after signing with champions HB Tórshavn.

The 26-year-old forward, capped 31 times by Estonia, has been without a club since leaving Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City in August 2025, when his contract ended early. His last competitive appearance came at the end of January 2025, and he finished his spell in Vietnam with 10 matches and one goal.

HB, the Faroe Islands’ most decorated club with 24 league titles and 30 cup wins, confirmed the agreement on Saturday. The Tórshavn side ended last season as runners-up in the top flight, securing a place in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

Sorga will wear the number 10 shirt, selected by the head coach. A product of Legion’s academy in Tallinn, he has also played for Flora, D.C. United, VVV-Venlo, IFK Göteborg, Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Sumqayıt.
