Lithuanian Cup holders FK Panevėžys continue shaping their squad for next season, confirming another important piece of news: Brazilian winger Elivelto has signed a new contract that keeps him at the club until the end of 2026.

The 33-year-old wide player returned to Panevėžys for the 2025 campaign after a two-year spell away and quickly reestablished himself as a valuable contributor. This season, he featured in 25 A Lyga matches, recording three goals and three assists, while also playing in all five Lithuanian Cup fixtures. His impact was felt throughout the cup run, where he added two goals and helped the club lift the trophy once again.

Next season will mark Elivelto’s fifth with Panevėžys [2020-2022 before], and the experienced Brazilian made it clear he is delighted to continue with the club. Speaking to the team’s official website, he shared his satisfaction with staying in Lithuania:

“I think we did everything we could this season – winning the cup was fantastic for the club and for all of us. Staying in Panevėžys was not a hard decision. I enjoy playing here, I like the city, and my family is happy as well. My wish was to remain,” the winger said.

Elivelto is no stranger to Baltic football. Before his time in Panevėžys, he represented Ekranas and Žalgiris in Lithuania, as well as RFS in Latvia. His career has also taken him to clubs in Israel, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Greece, giving the team a player with both versatility and international experience.
