Italian Serie C side Ternana Calcio have announced the signing of Lithuanian striker Edgaras Dubickas on a two-year deal.
The 27-year-old forward has been playing in Italy since 2016 and spent last season on loan across the country’s second and third tiers. He began the campaign with Serie C outfit Feralpisalò, scoring five goals in 22 appearances, before moving up a division in January to join Serie B side Juve Stabia on loan. Playing time was limited there, though he still managed one assist in five matches during the second half of the season.
Dubickas had been under contract with Pisa SC since January 2023, but following the club’s promotion to Serie A, it became clear he would need to find a new team with Pisa no longer counting on him. His next chapter begins in Serie C with Ternana, who narrowly missed out on promotion last term. The club finished second in their group but fell short in the playoff final, losing to Pescara on penalties.
This season holds special meaning for Ternana, who are celebrating their 100th anniversary. The Umbrian club has twice featured in Serie A, during the 1972–73 and 1974–75 campaigns.
Dubickas, who has four senior caps for Lithuania, has built his career in Italy with stints at Lecce, Livorno, Catania, Pordenone, Gubbio, and Piacenza.
Ternana have started the current campaign poorly, with two defeats in Serie C and no goals scored so far.
