FC Džiugas Telšiai have announced their squad for the start of the new season, and one new name is 19-year-old Ukrainian winger Artem Marchuk.
Marchuk spent last season in Uzbekistan and Latvia. He began the campaign with FK Zamin before moving in late summer to Latvian club SK Super Nova.
During the second half of the Latvian season, he made 11 appearances for Super Nova, scoring four goals and registering two assists in Virslīga.
Earlier in his career, Marchuk was part of the Riga FC system in Latvia, where he played for the club’s youth and reserve teams.
Džiugas will begin their new season with an away match in Vilnius against FK Žalgiris Vilnius.
