A Lyga side FC Džiugas Telšiai has signed former FK Kauno Žalgiris winger David Martin Anane to a contract.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian winger made 30 appearances across all competitions for FK Kauno Žalgiris last season, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
Prior to his move to Lithuania, David Anane played for Danish lower league side Fremad Amager and spent the 2023 season with FK Liepāja where he scored two goals in 21 league matches.
FC Džiugas began the season with a narrow defeat against the champions, FK Žalgiris. In their next match, they will face the former Anane’s team – FK Kauno Žalgiris.
