# David Epton completes move from Tartu to Kazakhstan
**Tartu Tammeka midfielder David Epton has left the Premium liiga club to continue his career in Kazakhstan following two-and-a-half years in Estonia, the club announced.**

Chief executive Kristjan Tiirik thanked the Ghanaian for his contribution during his spell at the club, pointing to key moments including Tammeka’s fifth-place finish in the 2024 Premium liiga season.

“_Now David’s career continues in Kazakhstan by mutual agreement and we wish him a lot of success for this new stage_,” Tiirik said.

Epton also paid tribute to those around the squad, saying Tartu had played a major role in his development. “_First and foremost I want to say a huge thank you to the coaches, club staff, management, team-mates and supporters_,” he said. “_Tartu is the place where I have grown as a footballer and as a person… I wish the club great success this season and I will always consider myself part of this family_.”

Epton, who turned 21 earlier this month, made 53 Premium liiga appearances for Tammeka.
