Lithuanian A Lyga side FC Džiugas Telšiai has announced that they have signed a contract with Latvian center-back Daniels Nosegbe-Suško.
The 20-year-old began his career in the youth academies of Skonto Riga and Riga FC before making a significant move to the Napoli system in 2022 for a reported transfer fee of 125,000 Euros. During his time in Italy, Suško played for the Napoli Primavera and made several appearances for the Napoli U19 team in the UEFA Youth League. He also had a stint with Avellino.
Last summer, Suško returned to Latvia, where he joined AFA Olaine in the Nākotnes Līga. Daniels who has roots in Nigeria is now set to make his mark at FC Džiugas Telšiai.
In addition to his club experience, Daniels Nosegbe-Suško has represented Latvia at the U17 and U19 levels.
FC Džiugas Telšiai will kick off the new A Lyga season next Sunday, facing the defending champions, FK Žalgiris.
