Midfielder Matas Ramanauskas, who scored the game-winning penalty kick in the Lithuanian Cup final against FK Hegelmann, has re-signed with the FK Banga Gargždai side.

The 24-year-old midfielder joined Banga from Riteriai at the start of the 2024 season and became a pivotal member of the team. In his first season with the Gargždai side, Matas made 38 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice in the A Lyga and once in the Lithuanian Cup.

Ramanauskas played the entire game in last season’s Lithuanian Cup final, and he scored the game-winning penalty kick to earn Banga their first major Lithuanian trophy.
