# Campaña says his future is a minor concern as Narva Trans are relegated
Narva Trans have been relegated from the Premium liiga after a 5-1 defeat in Tartu confirmed their drop with three matches left to play. The club’s last league win came at the end of July; in the 12 matches since, they have taken four points from draws.

Head coach David Campaña and assistant Noel Patrick Parsons joined Narva Trans in late June, when the side were seven points from ninth place. That gap has since doubled. Campaña said his players fought hard but became nervous under pressure, adding: “This is very painful.”

The Spaniard said he and his staff had tried to address the team’s physical, technical, tactical and psychological problems. He rejected the change between Narva’s artificial home surface and natural grass away pitches as an excuse, saying the team had to take responsibility for its own difficulties. “If someone has to be blamed, let it be me,” he said.

Campaña said he did not yet know whether he would stay in Narva, adding that his future was a minor concern for the club at present. He praised the people at Narva Trans and said he believed the club would take the necessary steps to rebuild and return to the top flight as soon as possible.
