Lithuanian top-flight club FK Banga Gargždai have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Cadu Galvão.
Banga, who are currently holding a training camp in Cyprus, have been active in the transfer market in recent days. Earlier this week, the club confirmed the arrivals of Swedish winger Kofi Asare, who previously spent several seasons in Sweden’s second tier and represented Inter Turku last year, as well as Lithuanian full-back Aleksandr Levšin. Levšin returns to the Lithuanian top division after a season in the second tier and has made 171 appearances in the A Lyga during his career.
The club have now added another wide defender to the squad, this time 21-year-old Brazilian Cadu Galvão. He joins Banga from Brazilian top-flight side Chapecoense, although he did not make a first-team appearance for the club.
Born in Juara, Galvão previously developed in the academy of Avaí FC.
Banga have been in Cyprus for four days and have already played one friendly match during the camp, defeating Cypriot top-division side Olympiakos Nicosia 1-0 in their opening test.
