Latvian Cup winners FK Auda have announced that midfielder Kemehlo Nguena and goalkeeper Roberts Ozols will not be part of the squad next season, as their contracts have expired.
25-year-old Frenchman Nguena was Auda’s most prolific player this season, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in 31 league appearances during his sole campaign at the club. Nguena joined Auda ahead of the 2025 season after a season and a half with Riga FC, and over his two-and-a-half seasons in the Latvian top flight, he netted 24 goals in 87 appearances. Prior to moving to Latvia, the midfielder had stints with Troyes in France and Slavia Sofia in Bulgaria’s top division.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Ozols returned to Latvia before this season following a spell abroad with Uzbekistan’s Qizilqum. The goalkeeper featured in 21 matches across all competitions, keeping six clean sheets. Like Nguena, Ozols also lifted the Latvian Cup, helping Auda secure a memorable victory over his former club Riga FC, where he had spent seven seasons.
With both players now free agents, Auda had previously confirmed that Brazilian Jackson Kenio and Portuguese midfielder Matheus Clemente would also depart the club, with Clemente signing with FC RFS earlier today.
