Latvian Cup winners FK Auda have confirmed that Brazilian midfielder Jackson Kenio will not remain at the club for the upcoming season.

The 26-year-old attacker spent the first half of the campaign with Riga FC, but after struggling to earn regular playing time, he made a summer move across the league to FK Auda. Following his arrival, Kenio quickly became part of Auda’s attacking setup and featured in nine Virslīga matches, scoring two goals during the second half of the season.

Despite a relatively short stint at the club, Kenio ensured his place in FK Auda’s history books by delivering one of the most important moments in the club’s modern era. In the Latvian Cup final, the Brazilian scored against his former club Riga FC as Auda secured a memorable 2-1 victory, lifting the trophy and sealing qualification for European competition next season.

Before arriving in Latvia, Kenio built his career in his native Brazil, while also gaining experience abroad in Austria, Albania and Turkey.

In their official statement, FK Auda thanked the Brazilian midfielder for his contributions and wished him success in the next chapter of his career.
