A Lyga runner-up, FC Hegelmann, announced that they have retained midfielder Artem Shchedryi for one more season.
The 32-year-old Ukrainian midfielder joined FC Hegelmann as a free agent before the 2024 season after becoming the A Lyga champion with FK Paņevezys in 2023. His first season with FC Hegelmann was highly successful; he played in 34 league matches, contributing to nine goals—four goals scored and five assists.
Artem also earned the A Lyga Player of the Month award for July after scoring three goals in three consecutive victories.
