Kuusk comes on the field in the second half to secure Katowice’s win in the Polish Ekstraklasa

In today’s Polish Ekstraklasa match, Märten Kuusk came off the bench for the second consecutive game as GKS Katowice secured a 2-0 victory away against Śląsk Wrocław.

The Estonian national team defender made his 22nd appearance in the Polish Ekstraklasa this season. The former FC Flora Tallinn star entered the game in the 64th minute, when his team was leading 2-0, playing a key role in helping them achieve their second straight league win.

With this victory, GKS Katowice rose to 8th place in the league table, now holding 42 points. Their next match is scheduled for next Saturday, when they will host Legia Warsaw, the team that recently defeated Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the UEFA Conference League quarterfinal second-leg game.
