Anier scores his ninth goal of the season in his team’s quest to go back-to-back

In the Hong Kong Premier League, Henri Anier scored his ninth goal of the season, helping his Lee Man Warriors secure a 4-0 victory against Kitchee.

The Estonian national team forward was once again in the starting lineup for his team. In the 58th minute, he scored the third goal of the match, giving his side a three-goal lead.

At 34 years old, Anier is in his second season with the club. Last year, he won the Hong Kong league’s golden boot award and became a league champion. This season, he has scored nine goals in 16 games.

With five matches remaining in the league, the Lee Man Warriors have accumulated 41 points after 19 games and currently sit in second place in the league table, three points behind the leaders, Tai Po.
