On Sunday, various Estonian player teams competed across Europe. In the Czech Chance Liga, Vlasiy Sinyavskiy played the full match but faced a defeat against Viktoria Plzen. Meanwhile, Alex Matthias Tamm was substituted in the second half for his Olimpija Ljubljana because of a hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old Sinyavskiy returned to the Slovacko starting lineup after being on the bench in his team’s previous league match, which they lost 0-4 to Slovan Liberec.
Plzen established a strong foundation for their victory by scoring two goals in the first half. Sinyavskiy, now in his third season with the team, has made 21 appearances this season in the Czech top-flight, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
His team, Slovacko, is currently experiencing a tough stretch. They have lost their last three league matches and are sitting in 13th place on the table with 29 points. Their next match will be on Wednesday when they host Hradec Králové.
Forward Alex Matthias Tamm started again for Olimpija Ljubljana and was substituted due to the injury he suffered in the second half. Despite this, his team secured a 2-0 win against Primorje. Olimpija announced on social media that the Estonian’s substitution was due to a hamstring problem. “Alex Matthias Tamm ended the match in Ajdovšcina prematurely due to a hamstring problem. The severity of the injury will be determined in the coming days after further examinations,” the club wrote in a statement. Olimpija Ljubljana is currently the league leader after 28 games, enjoying a comfortable 12-point lead over their closest rivals, NK Maribor.
