In the Slovakian Nike Liga, Estonian youngster Dimitri Jepihhin made his debut for AS Trencin, contributing to his team’s 3-2 victory over Michalovce in their first match of the Relegation Group. In other leagues, Alex Matthias Tamm’s Olimpija suffered a 0-1 defeat in the league leader match in Slovenia.

The 19-year-old winger joined Trencin in late February after a successful season with Paide, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 33 games.

Jepihhin came onto the field when the score was 2-1 in favor of Trencin. Late in the match, Michalovce managed to equalize, but in the third minute of stoppage time, Jakub Holubek scored the game-winning goal, marking his second goal of the match. This crucial victory allowed Trencin to move up to 9th place, six points clear of last-place Banska Bystrica, which would lead to automatic relegation. They are also three points ahead of Ružomberok, who occupy a position that could lead to a promotion/relegation playoff against a second-division team.

Trencin and Jepihhin will play their next game on Saturday, away against Skalica.

Prva Liga, Slovenia

In the Slovenian Prva Liga, Alex Matthias Tamm played the entire match for Olimpija Ljubljana, but his team suffered a 0-1 defeat against Maribor, their main rivals for the league title. The 23-year-old Estonian striker has made five league appearances for Olimpija this season, contributing three goals and one assist.

Olimpija’s situation in the league standings has become increasingly tense; they have lost two consecutive matches and are now only three points ahead of Maribor, after being nine points in front just a week ago. With 12 league games remaining, Olimpija and Tamm will aim to end their losing streak on Wednesday when they host NS Mura.

efBet Liga, Bulgaria

Matvei Igonen once again remained on the bench as Botev Plovdiv drew 1-1 against Arda in the Bulgarian efBet Liga. Igonen’s last league appearance was on December 19, when he conceded four goals against Ludogorets. Botev Plovdiv currently sits in fourth place in the league table with 42 points after 24 games.

Premier League, Hong Kong

Estonian striker Henri Anier played a full match in the Hong Kong Premier League as his Lee Man Warriors drew 1-1 against Southern District. Unfortunately, his streak of three consecutive matches with a goal came to an end.

Ekstraklasa, Poland

In the Polish Ekstraklasa, Marten Kuusk did not play for GKS Katowice for the first time since early November, but his team secured a 1-0 victory against Zaglebie. Following this win, GKS Katowice moved up to 9th place in the league table with 33 points. This season, Marten has made 19 appearances in the Polish Ekstraklasa, contributing two assists.
