efBet Liga, Bulgaria
The 33-year-old center-back Joonas Tamm made his 17th league appearance of the season. Tamm, who is in his second season with the Bulgarian club, is currently competing for a spot in European competitions. Unfortunately, they experienced a disappointing loss against Spartak Varna, ending 0-1.
The winning goal came in the second half when Panamanian winger Romeesh Ivey scored for Spartak Varna.
For the third consecutive game, Estonian goalkeeper Matvei Igonen remained on the bench, with Danish goalkeeper Hans Christian Bernat starting in his place.
Despite the defeat, Botev Plovdiv still holds 3rd place in the league table with 41 points after 21 matches. Their next game will be next Saturday when they host CSKA Sofia in a league match.
Chance Liga, Czechia
In the Czech Chance Liga, Vlasiy Sinyavskiy and his team Slovacko played to a goalless draw against Dukla Prague. The 28-year-old Estonian international started in the previous league match last week but came off the bench in the 79th minute today, playing the final minutes of the game. Slovacko is currently in 10th place in the league table with 26 points after 22 games. They will host Hradec Kralove next Sunday in the Chance Liga.
Another Estonian playing in Czechia Vladislav Kreida was an unused substitute for Sigma Olomouc, who achieved a 4-0 victory against FK Pardubice.
Nike Liga, Slovakia
Kevor Palumets and Podbrezova secured a 2-1 win against Trencin. The Estonian midfielder made his second appearance for the club, coming onto the field in the 66th minute after moving from the Belgian side Waregem. Podbrezova scored the game-winning goal just three minutes after Kevor’s arrival, with Czech youngster Ondrej Deml—on loan from Plzen—scoring his first goal of the season.
Thanks to this victory, Podbrezova maintains 4th place in the league table with 28 points. Although the gap to 3rd place Trnava is significant, they are only three points ahead of the 7th place team.
Palumets’ team will have an important match next as they play away against Trnava.
