Lithuanian Pirma Lyga side BE1 announced the signing of a young Croatian goalkeeper Bruno Meštrović.
BE1 added an exciting youth prospect to their Pirma lyga campaign lineup – a Croatian goalkeeper Bruno Meštrović (19). Standing at almost 2 metres tall, Meštrović, who is a product of the Hajduk Split academy, spent his entire youth career in Croatia with the exception of a brief foray into Czech club FK 1. SC Znojmo last summer.
Speaking to Baltic Football News, Bruno commented on this new chapter in his developing career:
To be honest it was a bit hard to go away from my home in Croatia to play football here, but since the first day I felt that it was worth it. Everybody from the club welcomed and accepted me from the captain to the president and made me feel as I am one of their own. What can I say about the club is that everybody is working really hard every day to make a club progress in every way possible. I cant wait for the league to start for me and the team to show our abilities and to give our best!
