Academy graduate Nedas Klimavičius has rejoined Žalgiris Vilnius after two seasons, signing a contract with the club.
Since early January, Klimavičius had been training with Žalgiris as a free agent, and he recently finalized a deal to become a full member of the squad. The versatile midfielder, who plays both centrally and on the wing, turned 20 on February 10.
Klimavičius has been registered with the Žalgiris academy since 2011. In 2023, he joined TransINVEST, helping the team win Pirma lyga title and lift the LFF Cup.
Last season, while playing for TransINVEST’s B team in the II lyga, he scored 10 goals.
He made his senior football debut in 2021 with Žalgiris C and stepped up to the B team in 2022.
