Comoros international Kassim Hadji joins the champions

The champions FK Žalgiris have announced that they have signed a Comoros international Kassim Hadji.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who has also held French citizenship for the past two years played in the Armenian top-flight for Ararat Yerevan. During this season, Kassim made 16 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

His previous season was his most successful in Armenia, where he scored seven goals and made four assists in 33 league matches.

Before his time in Armenia, Kassim played in the French lower leagues for Ain Sud and spent two seasons in the Swiss third division with Stade Nyonnais.

Kassim has made eight appearances and scored one goal for the Comoros senior national team. He will join fellow Comoros international Younn Zahary at Žalgiris, who is set to begin his second season with the Lithuanian club.

Kassim will have the chance to make his debut on Wednesday in Žalgiris’s friendly match against Wigry Suwalki.
