Dutch Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk has announced that midfielder Nouri El Harmazi has joined the Lithuanian Cup winner FK Banga Gargždai
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Ajax academy at the age of 8, where he stayed until he was 13. He then moved to Almere City and joined Eredivisie club Vitesse after a season there. He played for their U17, U19, and U21 teams at Vitesse but never made it to the first team.
In 2023, he signed with RKC Waalwijk, where he primarily played for their reserve team. Since Nouri has not made any professional appearances, he is now seeking more playing time with the defending Lithuanian Cup champions, FK Banga Gargždai.
Waalwijk’s Technical Director, Mo Allach, commented on Nouri El Harmazi’s departure: “Nouri is a young player who, due to the competition in midfield at Waalwijk, did not receive the playing time necessary for his development. We would like to thank Nouri for his time at RKC Waalwijk and wish him much success in the rest of his career.”
