Paide Linnameeskond has announced the signing of two new attacking players from Gambia – Abdourahman Badamosi and Pa Assan Corr. Both players have joined the Estonian club from their Gambian partner club, Real de Banjul.

According to Paide’s sports director, Gert Kams, these young talents have demonstrated enough quality in their home country to make an impact in Europe. “They are tall, goal-oriented, and talented players,” Kams stated through the club’s press service. “We definitely needed to strengthen our attack line. With these two young and highly promising players, we add competition within the team and expand our tactical options.”

Eighteen-year-old Badamosi expressed his excitement upon signing, stating he is eager to showcase his abilities and contribute to the team’s success. “I look forward to learning and growing with the team and the club, creating great achievements and memories together,” he said.

Nineteen-year-old Corr expressed his excitement about joining Paide, stating, “I have long dreamed of this opportunity. I know that the challenge ahead is significant, but I hope to perform successfully with the club and the team in the coming years, supported by my skills, faith, and energy. There are many role models at the club to look up to, and I eagerly anticipate the first training sessions and matches.”

One of the inspirations Corr mentioned is former Paide forward Abdoulie Ceesay, who came to Estonia from the Real de Banjul club. Just a few weeks ago, Ceesay was sold to the German Bundesliga club St. Pauli for €450,000 and has already made two appearances in the German top flight.

Both players have signed three-year contracts with the club. Badamosi will wear the number 30 shirt, while Corr will don the number 7 shirt.
