Nõmme Kalju FC has announced the signing of defender Sander Alex Liit. The 21-year-old who can play as a right-back and center-back, has signed a one-year deal with the team.
The 21-year-old defender is a native of Nõmme. He began his football journey with the local academy, Nõmme United, where he played until 2022. After that he moved to Kuressaare, where he competed in the Premium Liiga for the past three seasons.
Last season, Sander made 29 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists. Over his three seasons with Kuressaare, he accumulated a total of 89 appearances and scored four goals. Additionally, he has represented the Estonian U-21 National Team eight times.
Sander Alex Liit expressed his excitement about joining Kalju: “I am extremely happy to be a part of Kalju! The team has welcomed me warmly, and my adaptation has gone smoothly. The atmosphere within the club is harmonious, and the coaches and support staff are professional. The training sessions are challenging. As a player from Nõmme, I look forward to representing Kalju at the summer UEFA Conference League qualifiers and will do my best to help the club achieve its goals in the Premium League.
