Riga FC Women announced that Enija Anna Vaivode will remain with the club to support their title defense bid in 2025.
Riga FC Women’s and Latvian Women’s national team goalkeeper Enija Anna Vaivode (31) will remain with Latvian Women’s league Champions also for 2025, the club announced on their social media.
Vaivode, who made 28 appearances for the national team to date, joined Riga FC Women last year after a varied and diverse career that saw her play for a range of clubs in Latvia as well as in Iceland, Germany and Finland. As a starting goalkeeper for the club, she played 18 out of 21 matches last season, helping Riga FC Women to their first ever domestic gold in their debut season.
