Nõmme Kalju FC have announced that they have reached an agreement with Danyl Maschenko, with the Ukrainian signing a three-year contract extension at the club.
“It is nice to be part of a team, that is working toward mutual targets as one. I am glad to be a part of this club and a squad, that has accepted me nicely. I will give my everything for Kalju, for the fans and for the team,” Maschenko told the club’s social media.
Kalju’s head coach Nikita Andreev praised the player’s dedication and development:
“Danja is a player with a big heart, who works very hard for the team and for results. His development last year was remarkable. He is a young footballer, who’s career is just starting and who is a blessing to work with. I believe, that his development in Kalju will continue, and we are happy, that he will continue working with us.”
Maschenko made his Premium Liiga debut in 2023 for Harju JK Laagri, after which he moved on to Kalju, where he played 33 league games for last season. He scored three goals and his goal against FC Kuressaare was voted as Premium Liiga’s Goal of the Season.
