Ukrainian player Stanislav Sorokin, who spent two seasons with Dainava, has left Lithuania and moved to Kyrgyzstan. The player has signed a contract with FC Dordoi.
The 24-year-old midfielder was a standout player for Dainava. Last season, he scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 35 A lyga matches. In his first season, the Ukrainian had similar statistics, but now the midfielder will play for Kyrgyzstan’s runners-up.
So far, Stanislav Sorokin is the seventh player to depart from Dainava. According to unofficial sources, the club still has contracts with last season’s standout talent Ode Abdullahi, striker Davor Rakic, and goalkeepers Airidas Micevičius and Volodymyr Krinkskyi.
