FK Panevėžys has taken different paths with three football players. Defender Robert Mazan and midfielders Aironas Trakšelis and Nicolas Gorobsov will not represent the team in the 2025 season.

The 30-year-old Slovak, Robert Mazan, recorded two assists in 31 matches during last season’s A Lyga championship. The defender also played in four Champions League qualifying matches, where he provided two more assists for his teammates. Having added two matches each to his record in the Europa League and the Conference League qualifiers, Robert Mazan will continue his career in Bulgaria, the country from which he originally joined Panevėžys.

35-year-old Nicolas Gorobsov appeared in 28 matches in last season’s A Lyga, scoring three goals. The Argentine also played once in the LFF Cup and the victorious Super Cup, during which he scored a penalty. The midfielder played in second European competition matches, missing only the away game against The New Saints. In the home match against HJK, N. Gorobsov successfully scored from the penalty spot.

As for the 19-year-old native from Šilutė, Aironas Trakšelis, he scored four goals in 26 matches in the Pirma Lyga championship.
