Ukrainian player Andrij Karvatskyi is set to begin another season with FK Panevėžys. The 27-year-old defender has extended his contract with the team from the Aukštaitija capital for another year.
Karvatskyi, who plays as a left-back, returned to Panevėžys before the 2024 season, where he played 14 matches in the A Lyga last season. He also made one appearance in each qualifying game for the Europa League and Conference League.
Previously, Karvatskyi played for Panevėžys from 2018 to 2019. At the end of his first season, he contributed to the team’s victory in the Pirma Lyga and secured promotion to the A Lyga.
The team, now coached by Roland Vrabec, will gather on January 6 for its first training session in preparation for the 2025 season.
