Reigning Latvian Women’s football champions – Riga FC Women – announced that the club is seeking to develop their existing partnership with the Italian INTER Women.

Riga FC Women announced that they are pursuing a deepening of their existing collaboration with the INTER Women – the women’s team of European giant Inter Milan. These news are coming in as Riga FC Women head coach – Igor Kļosovs – is in Milan to exchange experience with, and to learn from, the Italian side. The club reports that further opportunities for collaboration, including internships, further experience exchange, training camps in Italy, as well as scouting are being discussed by the two clubs.

Riga FC Women have been undergoing a period of rapid growth in the past two years, recruiting foreign players and signing professional contracts. They finished first in the domestic women’s league last season, winning 58 out of 63 possible points and coming in 6 points ahead of their primary rivals – RFS Women.
