Hegelmann’s productive Brazilians depart from the club

Today, the A Lyga side FC Hegelmann announced the departures of two key Brazilian players, Michael Thuique and Hugo Figueredo.

Michael Thuique, a productive winger, joined Hegelmann before the 2023 season. During this season, the 31-year-old made 35 appearances and scored nine league goals, ranking second on the team in scoring. Over two seasons with the Kaunas district team, he played 64 matches and netted 14 goals.

Hugo Figueredo, 32, ranks among the top three players for the most appearances in FC Hegelmann’s history in the A Lyga, with 94 matches played. He joined the team a year before Michael in 2022. Before that, Hugo spent two seasons with FK Panevėžys, where he won both the Lithuanian Cup and the Lithuanian Super Cup.

Hugo made 33 league appearances in the current season and scored two goals. He played 103 matches for Hegelmann across all competitions during his three seasons with the club, scoring nine goals and providing 14 assists.
