Kristofers Sticenko has made another step in his career, transferring to Italian Serie D side ASD Castrumfavara (Favara) during the December transfer window. The 19-year-old joins Favara from fellow Serie D club Nuova Igea Virtus, marking his third transfer within Italy’s fourth-tier league in just over a year.
Sticenko, who started the 2024/25 season with Igea Virtus, made seven league appearances before completing his move.
The Latvian player began his journey in Italian football with Acireale Calcio in September 2023 after leaving JDFS Alberts, a Latvian club where he showcased his talent with eight goals in the 2022 Nakotnes Liga season. Since arriving in Italy, Sticenko has played 24 Serie D matches.
Favara currently sits 11th in the standings, just one point away from the top 10.
