Premium Liiga club Paide Linnameeskond announced the signing of the Estonian National Team midfielder Martin Miller.
Miller began his professional career with his hometown team, JK Tammeka, before moving to FC Flora in 2017. During his seven impressive seasons with the Estonian powerhouse, he won eight major Estonian trophies, including five league titles, two Super Cups, and one Estonian Cup.
Before the 2024 season, Martin sought to further his career abroad by joining the League of Ireland side Bohemians FC. However, his time there was not as successful as he had hoped. He made 23 appearances across all competitions and scored only one goal, while Bohemians finished in 8th place—their worst season since 2016.
After spending a year in Ireland, Miller returns home and becomes the third addition to last season’s Premium Liiga bronze medalists. The 27-year-old has made 37 appearances for the Estonian national team, scoring twice, and has played 253 matches in the Premium Liiga, contributing 43 goals and 49 assists.
“Smart and versatile are the adjectives that come to mind when describing Martin,” said Paide sports director Gert Kams. “His arrival at Paide will enhance our team’s versatility and expand our options. We have all seen that Martin can adapt to various positions, but his strengths shine the brightest in the heart of the field. He connects the game and creates scoring opportunities for our attackers. Welcome to the Paide, Martin!”
“I am very honored and happy to join Paide,” Miller told the Paide press department. “In recent years, the club has demonstrated how much can be achieved through hard work and determination. I believe that together with the team, coaches, and fans, we can achieve even greater successes and add valuable trophies to Paide’s cabinet.”
