Estonian champions FC Flora have re-signed intrepid Estonian striker Erik Sorga, who has returned to the club after leaving in 2019 for a move to Major League Soccer.
The 27-year-old was available as a free agent, allowing Flora to complete the deal outside the summer transfer window. Flora are currently second in the Premium liiga and have added Sorga during a busy period of fixtures.
“Erik is a mobile and versatile attacking player with an excellent finishing ability. His skill also creates opportunities for his team-mates,” sporting director Taavi Trasberg said. “We are convinced that his qualities suit our attacking football very well and that he will give us greater depth in attack.”
Since leaving Flora in 2019 for Loudoun United in the MLS, Sorga also found his way to Sweden, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Vietnam and Faroe Islands. Sorga has also set his sights on returning to the Estonia National Team after rejoining Flora.
