Latvia striker Roberts Uldriķis is set to leave Arminia Bielefeld and join Eredivisie side Heerenveen on a one-year contract, subject to the completion of the remaining formalities. The transfer must be finalised on Wednesday, 2nd September, before the Dutch window closes.
Heerenveen finished eighth in the 18-team Eredivisie last season and have begun the new campaign with one win, two draws and one defeat. They are 11th after four matches, having scored five goals.
Uldriķis has previous Eredivisie experience with Cambuur, scoring seven goals in 21 appearances during the 2021-22 season. He scored once in 28 matches the following campaign before continuing in the Dutch second tier, where he recorded 12 goals and eight assists in 32 games.
After a spell in Greece, Uldriķis joined Arminia in January 2025. A serious knee injury kept him out for several months, and he has made four substitute appearances for the German club at the start of this season. In total, he scored five goals and supplied three assists in 27 matches for Arminia.
