FC Kuressaare attacking midfielder Rasmus Talu will miss around two months after suffering a thumb injury in the club’s latest Premium liiga match.
The 19-year-old was forced off in the 14th minute following a collision with Harju Laagri’s Idrissa Bah. Kuressaare went on to win the game 3-2, completing a late comeback.
It is the second significant injury setback of Talu’s first season with the club. In May he broke his collarbone against Nõmme Kalju after an impact with Oleksandr Musolitin, was taken straight to hospital and underwent surgery the next morning. Talu returned to action in July, but will now face another spell on the sidelines.
