The remaining Baltic clubs have discovered their potential opponents for the UEFA Conference League play-off round, with Auda avoiding both representatives from Europe’s top five leagues, while the possibility of an all-Baltic clash in the champions path was also avoided.
A Baltic showdown had been possible in the champions path, but the draw kept the sides apart. If Flora Tallinn eliminate Inter Club d’Escaldes, they will face the winner of the tie between Kosovan champions Drita and San Marino champions Tre Fiori. Meanwhile, should Riga FC overcome Hungarian champions Gyor, they will meet the loser of the clash between Polish champions Lech Poznań and Faroese champions KI Klaksvik.
In the main path, Auda avoided both Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion and French club AS Monaco. If the Latvian side eliminate Dinamo City of Albania, they will face the loser of the tie between Red Bull Salzburg and Pafos.
Current Latvian league leaders RFS, if they get past Czech side Jablonec, will take on the loser of the UEFA Europa League qualifier between Rangers and Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok.
Lithuania’s only remaining Conference League representative, Žalgiris Vilnius, would face the winner of the tie between Rakow Czestochowa and Swedish side Hammarby if they eliminate Hajduk Split.
Estonian side Paide Linnameeskond, meanwhile, face a daunting potential play-off should they stun Rapid Wien, as they would then meet the loser of the Europa League qualifier between Portuguese giants Benfica and Scottish club Heart of Midlothian.
The UEFA Conference League play-off ties are scheduled to be played on 20 and 27 August.
